Pastor Gardner and Missions Director Jeff Bush offer extremely helpful advice on how to get your ministry started once your on the foreign field. After discussing at length in previous podcasts the importance of becoming a bi-cultural missionary, they discuss different ways in which someone can begin their ministry before they have even learned the language. If you are on the mission field in language school now, or soon plan to be, this podcast is invaluable to you, and still very helpful for anyone in any stage of ministry, so listen closely!

For someone who have not been on the field before and is going in to this with well traveled eyes I guess you can call it. How can you best keep your focus from the tourist mindset and get down to the grind of ministry and also when is a good time to start asking questions, day one, day three?

Always ask questions. Let every man be your teacher!

Good reminder that we should start looking for ways that we can become part of the culture and ministry even though we might not be able to speak the language very well.

Great reminder to be all in ministry wise, even in language school!
