Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
He will not impute sin to us means that He will not take into account our sins. In salvation, imputation in particular, He takes our sins, all of them, and puts them on His account. He also then takes His holiness and puts it on our account.
Our past disappears from our past and gets placed on His account. His past gets put on our account. When He looks at our past, present, and future He doesn’t see us and what we did rather He sees Jesus, who He is and what He has done.
No wonder the Bible says that this man is blessed or happy. Who wouldn’t be? What if I could tell you a way to not just start over but be made new. A way not to get forgiveness but to have your entire past erased and written over with a who new past.
What if I told you that He not only wrote over your past but also your present and already has written over your future. No wonder we are a happy people. No wonder we worship at His feet and rejoice in His presence.
This is true for you and can be yours right now if you will only believe in Jesus and what He has done for you. It is done. It is yours. All you need to do is receive the gift.
