I Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king.

what is our relationship with the king if we are not obeying the Word of the Lord about fulfilling the Great Commission.

I know that it comes across as a major insult to hear not obeying God is rebellion or a comparison with witchcraft, stubbornness, iniquity and idolatry but that seems to be what the verse implies. I know it speaks of Saul and his partial obedience but what does that have to do with our partial obedience and the Great Commission.

Maybe we should rethink our participation in the Great Commission and World Evangelism. How much are you doing to get the gospel to the world?

Getting the Gospel out is just as much of a command as loving our neighbor and I should treat it that way. Thanks for the article!
