Leviticus 2:10 And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’: it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
God made provision for His men even in the offerings made by fire. They were to take the offerings to the Lord. After the sacrifice whatever was left was for God’s men and their families.
Tomorrow’s reading Leviticus 3
Who destroyed who?
Hosea 13:9 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help.
It is so easy to blame God for what is going wrong in our lives. We want to see God has being mean to us just because we want to live our lives. Here God tells Israel that it is not His fault that they are hurting. He says, you have destroyed yourselves. He says that if they want help they can find it in Him!
When we walk away from God and live our own lives we bring upon ourselves the consequences of our sins. Sin is a horrible task master. Look around. How did you get where you are? Who did what? Admit that you left, you moved, you walked away, you made a choice that said you would rather have it your way!
Now you are suffering the consequences. What are you going to do to fix things? Go to Him. There is help in the Lord God who you left!
