Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.
All the way back in the Old Testament we see that God’s people were to be a loving people. They were not to try to get even with people or get back at them. They were not to hold grudges or anger in their hearts at their brothers. They were to forgive. Help us to make this a reality in our lives.
Tomorrow’s reading Leviticus 20
Praying that God will send forth laborers to His harvest
Matthew 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
I have no greater desire than to see the gospel get to the ends of the world in our generation. I believe that is God’s will for His church and we are His church! I beg God continually for laborers and hope that you will. I beg God to help me become more effective at reaching people here in our area and then in training men to send around the world!
We do not just need more warm bodies on the field we need well trained and prepared men to do the work of God. I thank God that I am part of a church that has this heart! We want to prepare men and women for the world.
I hope you will pray that God will send us men and women that are hungry to take the gospel to the world, men and women that will humbly submit their lives to go and do whatever He has in mind.
I prayed last night that God would raise up more members at Vision that would be a strong sending group that would make a major difference. Will you pray with me?
