Today’s reading Revelation 18-22
Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
As the apostle John finishes the book of Revelation the Lord Jesus speaks and tell us that He will return quickly, in an instant, and even soon. I love the apostle’s answer and want it to be my answer, Come, Lord Jesus!
I do look for His coming. I long to be in His presence. I am so weak here. I get discourage, depressed, lazy, etc. I don’t keep focused on Him like I should. I love Him and I want to be with Him all the time and to constantly look on His glory.
I want to focus my life on making much of Him because He is all there is!
I believe His Word is true. I look for His return and not just when I die but at any moment. I want to live like I really believe that He is coming. I want to purify myself and walk ready for His appearing!
Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
We have now finished the entire Bible once again. I hope that you have enjoyed your time reading and meditating in the Word of God. For the next few months I will do each devotional from the book of Romans and/or Genesis since that is where we will be in each of our services at Vision. I challenge you to read those books until you know them well!
