Numbers 34:2 Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)
God gave the people their inheritance. He wanted them to know that what they had came from Him.
Do we recognize that it is God that has given us all that we have? It is God that has been so good to us. He has given us new life. He has given us power to live in victory. We are super blessed. I am afraid that we often forget that.
Today, let’s remember that God is at work in our lives. Let’s live gratefully!
Tomorrow’s reading Numbers 35
A man of the Book
Acts 28:23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
Paul was able to spend the entire day just telling them about Jesus, the Kingdom of God, etc all from the law and the prophets. He didn’t waste his time. He didn’t talk about things of little or no value. He didn’t give his opinions. He was a man of the book.
We could learn from this to use our time to intentionally talk about spiritual things. We could talk about Jesus and His will for our lives.
We could do so from the Bible and not just chew the fat about things of little value. Are you intentionally discipling anyone? Do you invest your time with others, in them, telling them things of eternal value?
